Client Rights

As a client you have the right to:

  • Accommodations - Share any relevant allergies/accommodations you have by email or in-person

  • Timely therapy services - Sessions are to start within 5 minutes of the scheduled time, unless there is an emergency. If you do not see or hear from me by then, please call or send a message

  • Voluntary services - Stop therapy at any time, for any reason, by telling me in-person or by email

  • Understand your medical records - Request a summary or add/remove information from your chart

  • Understand your billing and fees - Have your fees explained, documented, and know what your options are if you are having difficulties with paying for therapy

  • Confidential care - Know that what you say in therapy is kept confidential unless you threaten to harm yourself, others, or if there is an active case of abuse
